When Kaz Hirai was interviewed by GameSpot over the week and said that the production of PlayStation 3's hasn't even started yet, and all that the producing companies are doing is getting the hardware ready to manufacture, it brought up the question of how will Sony be able to provide 2 million units for launch when they haven't even started producing yet?

According to a source I have who is currently in Germany and was at the Leipzig Games Convention talking to a Sony PR Representative, he told me that Sony will be announcing the start of the production of PS3's after their Keynote Speech at the Tokyo Game Show on September 22. Not only did the PR guy say that Sony will announce the production details at TGS, but also another big piece of information about the PS3 will be announced and cause fanboys and gamers to be talking about it until the launch.

Now that we have a good idea of when PS3's will finally get made, September 22, the big question is now, what is this secret announcement that Sony will make at TGS and will cause thousands and millions of gamers to explode and blap about on blog and websites. Wait until Sept. 22 and find out.
